Having had some great and some terrible experiences with essay writing services, my friends and I decided to write a review of Essay Factory, so students can make informed decisions, and be able to spot a scam. It’s important to know that a service is legit and safe to trust before you hand over your money.
About Essay Factory
When I log into this website, the first thing I notice is that their domain is ‘.uk’ rather than ‘.co.uk’ which is really suspicious to me, as I’d rather stick to mainstream domains, and away from anything dodgy. There are a phone number and an online chat window, but no email address or links to social media, so I’m not convinced that they’d provide great support, or much help if you need a refund or have questions.
Ordering with EssayFactory
When you order, you enter your personal details and automatically register for an account, as well as enter the details for your paper. You’re asked all of the general information like a topic, word count, and referencing style, however, you’re not given an option to select the kind of grade you want. So you can’t pay for a guaranteed 1st, or save some cash by opting for a 2:2.
There are signs all over the order page that you get 15% off, and this discount coupon is automatically applied as part of the promo. I kind of think that this isn’t really 15% off, and is just the main price, as a 3000-word Ethics paper for undergrad would still be £158.95, which isn’t overly expensive but is hardly a great deal.
Essayfactory.uk only guarantees that their writers are native English speakers, There’s no further information about the level of education or experience required to join the staff here. If you’re paying for an essay, I’d want to be sure that the person I’m paying has an advanced degree, so knows how to write academically, and some experience on the subject that they’re actually writing about.
I’d have liked to see an example of the kind of work they produce, but unfortunately, there are no samples or testimonials available, and I couldn’t see a link to any social media accounts, so I couldn’t check out any reviews there either.
I couldn’t honestly recommend this website, I find the ‘.uk’ domain too suspicious, plus a lack of social media profiles and testimonials really makes me doubt the legitimacy of the website as a whole.
